All of Iowa, Winter Weather

A Look Early on Monday Morning

A few radar returns are scattered across the state early this morning, but none of the reporting stations across the state are reporting any kind of precipitation falling. Only reports of light fog or haze are being reported in scattered locations. A band of some light snow will move into the western part of the state in the next few hours which will complicate travel in those areas, especially in Sioux City and Omaha Metros for the morning rush hour. The snow will reach the I-35 corridor likely by midday or the early afternoon with the eastern part of the state receiving the first flakes around the evening rush hour. Snowfall is still projected at 1-3 inches across the state.
