Roads are becoming impassable across the state late this afternoon. The Iowa DOT has closed Interstate 35 from US Hwy 30 to the Minnesota border. US Hwy 18 is closed from Algona to Britt along with US Hwy 71 from Early to Storm Lake, IA Hwy 25 from Bayard to Scranton and IA Hwy 141 from Ute to Mapleton.
