The blizzard warning has been expanded to include, Worth, Cerro Gordo, Franklin and Hardin counties in NC Iowa. The Winter Weather Advisory has also been expanded and now includes, Floyd, Chickasaw, Mitchell, Howard, Winneshiek and Fayette Counties in NE Iowa. Another Winter Weather Advisory has been issued beginning at 4pm this afternoon (unless it begins earlier) which includes the following counties of Benton, Buchanan, Delaware, Iowa, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, Linn, Van Buren and Washington.

Of note, Blizzard Conditions have been reported near the Cedar Rapids Airport in Linn County. Even if you are not under a Blizzard Warning, blizzard conditions may be possible especially in rural open areas.
