A Traffic cam from the South Dakota DOT through Safe Travel USA shows at least one car in the ditch on I-29 south of Sioux Falls in South Dakota. This is prevelent not only in South Dakota, but in Iowa and in Minnesota. So many roads remain closed and will likely stay that way throughout the night. For example, I-35 is closed from Ames to I-90 at Albert Lea Minnesota. From there I-90 is closed in both directions from Albert Lea MN (I-35) all the way to Chamberlain SD some 135 miles west of Sioux Falls. I-29 is also closed north of Sioux Falls to the ND border. Back in Iowa, there is at least 20+ sections of main thoroughfares that are closed. The latest road conditions are here
