Above is a map of the current advisories and warnings that are now in effect in the state of Iowa. Ice Storm Warnings are in effect in central Iowa until Wednesday afternoon in southern parts of the state and Thursday morning in the north. Other advisories are in effect through various times between Wednesday afternoon in the south to Thursday morning in the north. Like earlier, amounts are generally going to be between a quarter and a half inch especially in the Ice Storm Warning areas. Travel will become very hazardous especially later tonight and into Wednesday morning.
