An Active Week Ahead

Another day and more dense fog shrouding the landscape. Dense Fog advisories remain in effect this afternoon, with some already being extended into Tuesday morning. Other possible extensions are likely to occur. A storm system will move into the state on Wednesday bringing a chance of some freezing rain. Amounts will generally be under 1/4 of an inch, but some higher amounts are possible. Winter Weather Advisories will likely be issued on Wednesday. The storm will linger in the state Thursday with additional chances of rain and or freezing rain.

Another much larger storm system will come for the weekend. Temperatures with this storm will be higher, with readings generally in the mid 30s to lower 40s. Rain and possibly even a thunderstorm will be possible on Saturday, with some rain mixing with some snow on Sunday. Colder weather is forecast to move in after this storm, with highs dropping back into the 20s by early next week.
