An Update for Mid Week Storm

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued from 9am Wednesday morning until 6pm Thursday evening for the following counties, Adair, Adams, Audubon, Boone, Calhoun, Carroll, Cass, Clarke, Crawford, Dallas, Decatur, Emmet, Greene, Guthrie, Humboldt, Kossuth, Madison, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Ringgold, Sac, Taylor, Union and Webster.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued from Noon Wednesday until 9pm Thursday evening for the following counties, Appanoose, Black Hawk, Bremer, Butler, Cerro Gordo, Davis, Franklin, Grundy, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Jasper, Lucas, Mahaska, Marion, Marshall, Monroe, Polk, Poweshiek, Story, Tama, Wapello, Warren, Wayne, Winnebago, Worth and Wright.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued from 6am until 9pm Wednesday for the following counties, Lyon, Plymouth, Sioux, Woodbury, Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Ida, OBrien and Osceola. Those same counties then go under a Blizzard Watch until 3pm Thursday afternoon.

A Winter Storm Warning also has been issued from 6am until 9pm Wednesday for Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Monona, Montgomery, Page, Pottawattamie and Shelby counties.

A Winter Storm Watch has been issued in NE Iowa since the last post below.

Widespread amounts of 4-8 inches of snow will be possible across the state beginning early Wednesday morning in western Iowa and moving through the state during the morning and early afternoon hours. Blizzard conditions are possible as wind pick up behind the storm system, especially with the fluffy nature of the snow. Winds will gust over 30mph Thursday. Road Conditions will likely go downhill throughout the day Wednesday through at least early on Friday.
