Calmer Week Ahead

A cold front is expected to move southward through the state later today into tonight. A few light snow showers or flurries will be possible with the passage of the front, but accumulations will be no more than a dusting at most. Another storm system will move south of the state by mid-week, bringing another chance of some light snow on Wednesday. Accumulations will be light as well with 1-2 inches likely. Colder air will move in following the mid-week system, with highs likely dropping into the teens to around 20 for highs. Lows will be in the single digits above and below zero.

New Year’s Eve night will be cold with partly to mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the single digits around Midnight.
