The Snow that won’t end

Snow continues at midday today over the southeastern and eastern portions of the state. Skies have or are beginning to clear to the west and north. Many locations received another 1-2 inches of snow overnight into this morning. This is from the same storm system that has been plaguing the state since late on Tuesday. The snow will move out this afternoon and drier air will move in. The next chance of some snow will come late on Tuesday into Wednesday with another storm system moving in from the west. 1-3 inches of snow is possible with this storm system. Colder air will follow for the new year with highs in the teens to around 20 and nighttime lows in the single digits above and below zero.
