Above are a few snowfall totals from the storm. A few of these locations may have received an inch or two more and could get another inch or so through tomorrow morning.
Most of the Winter Storm Warnings have been cancelled and replaced with Winter Weather Advisories. Only far NW Iowa is still under a Winter Storm Warning and Blizzard Warning. Road Conditions are about the same as the previous update with most of the roads west of I-35 in the state either as “Travel Not Advised” or completely covered.
The snow will continue overnight and into Saturday with only another 1-2 inches of snow possible statewide through late on Saturday.
Here are some of the rivers that are under Flood Warnings from the copious amounts of rain that fell prior to the changeover to snow.
Cedar Creek near Bussey
Chariton River near Chariton
Wapsipinicon River near DeWitt
English River near Kalona
Iowa River at Marengo
Many of these rivers will see slight flooding through the weekend.
