Blizzard of 2009: Wind Chill Advisories Out

As the storm continues to move off and the blizzrad conditions begin to wane, the wind chill is becoming the next factor. A Wind Chill Advisory has or will go into effect through tomorrow morning for most of the state. Temperatures are expected to drop below zero overnight and with winds decreasing to 15-25mph, this will lead toi wind chills between -10 and -20. Blizzard Warnings will expire at 6pm in eastern Iowa and have expired elsewhere. They have been replaced by Winter Weather Advisories which are set to continue through tomorrow morning. Winds will continue to gust through the evening hours.

Numerous roads are still closed, and Travel still is not advised for most of the state this evening.
