Light rain continues across the southern part of the state late this afternoon. The heaviest rain is falling south and southeast of the state and should remain in Missouri and Illinois. Rainfall amounts should remain light with the heaviest amount up to a quarter of an inch. The rain will continue off and on through the night into tomorrow. Next week will see November like weather with highs generally in the 40s and lows in the lower 30s.
