70s This Weekend

The best weekend since late September will come into the state. Readings in the 70s will be possible Saturday across most of the state, with only the southern part of the state likely to see 70s on Sunday. Currently numerous locations at mid-afternoon are in the 70s, with the warmest being 73 at Muscatine and 72 at Fairfield, Fort Madison, Keokuk, Oskaloosa, Pella, Grinnell, Shenandoah and Le Mars. A weak cold front is forecast to move through the state on Saturday switching the winds to the west and will bringing only slightly cooler air to the state. The next chance of rain will come on Monday as temperatures fall back into the 50s for highs.
