As the weekend is drawing to a close, the week ahead looks to be wet across the state. A few showers are currently ongoing across the SE Part of the state. This will continue through the evening and overnight hours but will have moved out of the state by dawn Monday morning. On Tuesday, the next storm system will move in, bringing chances of showers and thunderstorms to the state. Some of the rainfall could be heavy and could aggrevate the river flooding already occurring in SE Iowa. Rain will continue through at least Thursday before ending. Temperatures this week will remain in the 50s to around 60, with nighttime lows in the 40s most nights with a few upper 30s possible.
