The Next Round

Light to moderate rain is moving back into the state again this evening. Rainfall amounts will remain light with many locations receiving less than 1/2 inch of rain, The rain is expected to continue through most of Thursday with the main activity exiting the state around midday. Drizzle and mist will remain for the afternoon hours of Thursday. A few more light rain or snow showers can be expected Thursday night into Friday before the clouds exit. Temperatures the next two days will remain well below average with highs generally in the low to mid 40s, with lows at or around the freezing mark. Warmer and more appropriate weather for Mid October will return to the state Sunday through Tuesday with highs back into the 60s, before the next chance of rain moves in mid-week.
