A upper level low which is currently spinning over Colorado will begin to move eastward tomorrow bringing showers and isolated thunderstorms back to the state late Thursday through Saturday. Rainfall from this system could be quite heavy with the QPF model indicating 1-3 inches of rain possible, mainly east of Interstate 35, with at least 1 inch of rain to the west. Severe weather is not likely with this storm, but a few storms could produce some small hail given a few breaks in the clouds. As the storm moves away Saturday, cooler weather will move in with highs on Monday struggling to get into the 60s, with nighttime lows in the low-mid 40s.
Friday night High School games and the Iowa State game aganist Army could be effected by sloppy conditions, more on that will be posted with the Football forecast tomorrow.
