Downtown St Paul from the South side of the city.
My trip to the Twin Cities was Awesome. For 2 days, I got the chance to Explore St Paul and go to the Minnesota State Fair. The first day I pretty much just spent the day seeing the sited around Downtown St Paul, My friend and I went to Harriet Island and I got to see St Paul from the waterfront which was Very pretty. I also got to See St Paul at night. One of the interesting this were I only saw 3 stars in the sky at 8PM which is a lot less then what you can see from my house.

I Decided to show my Wisconsin State pride by wearing my Favorite Wisconsin shirt to Minnesota state fair. What happened because of this was cool, My friend, Alex Wanted to play Bingo, for the show Twin Cities Live at the KSTP booth, There were 2 hosts with microphones and a 3rd person walking around with a microphone talking to people that won, The game was to give away prizes. I was sitting on the benches in the crowed with the the 100+ people. during the middle of the game one of the hosts said “Before we get started again, I got to say, HEY to the guy in the Wisconsin shirt” as soon as he said that I thought (Oh Dang he’s talking to me) , Then he jokingly said “Who let him it here!” Then the hosts asked for my name and where I was from. so I said ” I’m Derek McKay from Clayton,Wisconsin” That was pretty cool for me, The host picked me out of a crowed saw me wearing my Wisconsin Shirt, I guess you don’t see to many Wisconsin Shirts at the Minnesota State Fair!
Downtown Minneapolis in the distance.
This was also a pretty neat thing. I rode a ride called the Space Tower, It went very high into the air, Well above the tree line. You could see both Downtown Minneapolis and St Paul from the top. You could also see into extended Suburbs and water towers scatted out for miles, the country side could also be seen.
This image is from the top of the Space Tower looking out of the cities, Towards Wisconsin.
So I really at a good time in the Cities and at the Minnesota State Fair, It will be will be an Experience to remember.
