Here are the current River flood warnings that are in effect. Many of these last through early next week and may be extended given the fact that it continues to rain over the eastern and southeastern parts of the state this afternoon.

Chariton River near Promise City
Skunk River near Sigourney
Iowa River at Marengo
Skunk River at Augusta
English River near Kalona
Wapsipinicon River near DeWitt
Cedar River near Conesville
Iowa River near Lone Tree
Iowa River at Columbus Junction
Iowa River at Wapello
Wapsipinicon River at Anamosa
Maquoketa River at Maquoketa

Along with these rivers, many creeks and streams are bankfull or over and are flooding farm fields, roads etc. Do not drive into floodwaters, turn around don’t drown!!!!!
