The National Weather Service has issued a TORNADO Watch in effect until Midnight for the following counties, Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Winneshiek, Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque, Iowa, Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Linn, Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine and Scott. Numerous brief tornadoes have been reported throughout NE Iowa and will likely continue through the early evening hours. Thios first line of storms should move out of the state by sunset, but more thunderstorms are beginning to form in NW Iowa into Central Iowa.
