* AT 546 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL…AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 8 MILES WEST OF NEW MARKET…OR 94 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DES MOINES…AND WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.
