Storms this morning blossomed over eastern Iowa but didn’t produce a whole lot of rain, but did give anyone who was awake quite a lightning show. Those storms have died off only to have another batch of storms over northern Iowa at Midday. There is a Severe Thunderstorm Warning in Winnebago County until 12:30. A few of the storms this afternoon that develop may become severe with large hail being the main threats. This will be confined to areas north of Interstate 80. Anyone going to the State Fair in Des Moines should have no issues.
