The Iowa State Fair begins this Thursday and runs through the following Sunday at the Fairgrounds in Des Moines. The weather looks sunny and warm for the first few days of the fair. Thursday-Saturday, highs will be in the upper 80s with sunny to partly cloudy skies. Only a chance of showers and thunderstorms returns to the forecast Sunday and Monday with highs still in the mid to upper 80s.
