Storms Refiring

Showers and Thunderstorms continue to fire along a boundary that has set up from roughly Dubuque to Omaha. Storms continue to move along the boundary and have been severe although there are no warnings in effect in Iowa at this time. Flash flooding is becoming the greatest concern now, with Buchanan, Delaware and Dubuque counties already under Flash Flood Warnings through this evening. Some locations have already recieved in excess of 1-2 inches of rain and more is to come especially along and south of the above mentioned boundary. Severe Weather is still possible with large hail and damaging winds still the primary threats. A Tornado still cannot be ruled out either. After each consecutive thunderstorm, there has been some peeks of sunshine leading the atmosphere to destabilize once more, leading to more thunderstorm development. This will likely continue through sunset when daytime heating will end.
