The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm watch in effect until Noon for Harrison, Monona, Pottawattamie and Shelby counties. Thunderstorms, some of them severe are ongoing in eastern Nebraska this morning. These storms will move into Western Iowa after sunrise. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats with any of the storms. Additional watches will likely be issued throughout the day as a cold front begins to move into the state.
