The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch which is in effect until 6am Monday morning for the following counties, Bremer, Butler, Calhoun, Carroll, Cerro Gordo, Crawford, Emmet, Franklin, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Humboldt, Kossuth, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Sac, Webster, Winnebago, Worth, Wright, Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell and Winneshiek.

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms continues over NW Iowa and will move quickly across the northern part of the state overnight. The main threats will be large hail and damaging winds. The storms may weaken as they move into more stable air over the eastern part of the state.
