A much cooler air mass will move into the state beginning later tonight. Temperatures will feel more like September than July. Highs will be in the 60s and low to mid 70s, with the coolest readings in the northeastern part of the state. Lows will be at or near record lows for the date on Saturday morning, where temperatures may fall into the upper 40s. Most of the record lows for Saturday are around 50. A gradual warming trend will continue for the rest of the week, but temperatures will still be below July averages for at least the next 7 days.
