Weather will continue to remain dry and pleasant this week. Temperatures today were in the 70s in northeast Iowa to mid-upper 80s in southwest Iowa. The only difference is that the dewpoints have remained in the 50s statewide. This drier air will continue the rest of the week with only slight chances of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday. Temperatures will slowly warm up to and through the Independence Day weekend, with readings climbing into the 80s and lower 90s, with nighttime lows generally rising from the 50s into the lower to middle 60s.
