Peonies in my garden June 22nd

Peonies are one of the best smelling flowers of the Summer season here in Western Wisconsin. They always bloom right around the first day of Calender summer. If you plant one, it may take a year or two for it to start blooming but it’s worth it. They really take care of themselves. You often see Peonies planted in yards, especially older homesteads. Peonies Makes the list of flowers I would recommend for the Western Wisconsin Gardener.

Here is a photo of yesterdays Very heavy rain! We got 1.38″ of rain here at Clayton,WI yesterday! We got heavy rain showers during the day, then, Thunderstorms moved in late last evening.
