Scattered thunderstorms continue across the eastern half of the state late this evening. The strongest storm was in Louisa county in SE Iowa with many of the storms forming along a warm front that is slowly moving northeastward through the state. The slow movement of these storms have led to numerous Flash Flood Warnings across the east central parts of the state. After the warm front moves through overnight, there will be a few days of very warm weather with highs early this upcoming week well into the 90s with a isolated location possibly hitting the century mark.
