More Severe Weather

There is a slight risk for severe weather for this afternoon and tonight for the eastern 3/4ths of the state, mainly east of US Hwy 59. The main threats will be large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes (especially in the evening). Currently this morning there is numerous showers and thunderstorms which will be around most of the morning. Redevelopment will occur later this afternoon (especially if the sky clears). Heavy rain is possible with these storms, which could aggrevate already swollen rivers in the southern part of the state. These storms will move out of the state overnight just in time for another round of storms Monday afternoon and evening, where is another slight risk out for most of the state except along the Missouri border and the Mississippi River.
