The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch which is in effect until 10am for the following counties, Adair, Adams, Appanoose, Audubon, Black Hawk, Boone, Calhoun, Carroll, Cass, Clarke, Crawford, Dallas, Davis, Decatur, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hamilton, Hardin, Jasper, Lucas, Madison, Mahaska, Marion, Marshall, Monroe, Polk, Poweshiek, Ringgold, Sac, Story, Tama, Taylor, Union, Wapello, Warren, Wayne, Webster, Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Monona, Montgomery, Page, Pottawattamie and Shelby. Thunderstorms developing in eastern Nebraska will move quickly into the state early this morning. The major threat will likely be from damaging winds with a secondary threat of large hail. This will be similiar to the activity that rolled through the state Thursday morning and into the early afternoon.
