The Storm Predicton Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 3pm for the following counties, Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Des Moines, Dubuque, Henry, Iowa, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Jones, Keokuk, Lee, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren and Washington. Thunderstorms are moving into the western edge of the watch area. Strong winds will likely be the main threat with these storms with large hail being secondary.
