After Midnight Notes

A few showers and thunderstorms, (non-severe) were along a line extending from Sac City to north of Onawa near Whiting. This showers and storms were moving to the east and slightly southeast at about 20-25 mph. These storms had been severe earlier in the Sioux City area and had been tornadic in South Dakota.

Dense Fog is beginning to develop across parts of the state, a dense fog advisory hasn’t been issued at this time, but one could certainly be put out later this morning. Visibilities could become greatly reduced overnight to less than 1/4 of a mile at times.
