Severe Weather on Tuesday and Wednesday

There is a slight risk of severe weather for today (Tuesday) and Wednesday for parts of Iowa. Tuesday’s risk area is mainly for areas southwest of a line from Algona to Ottumwa to Burlington. Wednesday’s risk includes the entire state of Iowa. The threats both days will be large hail and damaging winds and isolated tornadoes although the tornado threat is conditional. Heavy rain is also possible with these storms. 1-2 inches of rain will be possible in any areas that see repeated thunderstorms over the next two days.
