Currently early this afternoon, there is a wavy line of showers mainly along the US Hwy 30 corridor from Clinton to Missouri Valley, the showers are light and shouldn’t produce any more than a few tenths of an inch of rain. There is still a slight risk of severe weather for mainly late this afternoon and into the overnight for areas south of US Hwy 30. Large Hail and damaging winds will be the main threats. Heavy rain is also a threat as well. Tuesday will bring another round of showers and thunderstorms to the state. Most of the severe weather will be to the south and east of the state at that time.
