…STRONG THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE ACROSS EAST CENTRAL IOWA…
AT 1138 PM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS IN SOUTHERN BUCHANAN…NORTHERN BENTON…NORTHERN LINN AND SOUTHERN DELAWARE COUNTIES. THESE STORMS ARE MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH AND WILL MOVE INTO JONES AND DUBUQUE COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 PM.
THE STORMS WILL PRODUCE SMALL HAIL…GUSTY WINDS TO 35 MPH AND VERY HEAVY RAINFALL.

WAUBEEK…WHITTIER AND WORTHINGTON.
HEAVY RAINS MAY FLOOD LOW LYING AREAS SUCH AS DITCHES AND LOW-LYING AREAS. AVOID THESE AREAS AND DO NOT CROSS FLOODED ROADS AS THEY MAY BE WASHED OUT. WATER LEVELS OF SMALL STREAMS AND RIVERS MAY ALSO RISE…THEREFORE SEEK HIGHER GROUND IF THREATENED BY FLOOD WATERS.
