A push of drier air has moved into the state behind the cold front. Dewpoints have dropped into the 30s in most of the northern half of the state. This is not inclusive to severe weather development. Only the extreme southern and southeastern parts of the state, where dewpoints are still in the 50s have a chance for any severe weather this evening. The Storm Prediction Center agrees and has taken out the slight risk for most of Iowa except the southeastern part of the state.
