Back To Summer

After a frosty morning where a record low was set at Dubuque with 32°, temperatures will rebound dramatically the week prior to Memorial Day Weekend. Temperatures on Monday will be in the 70s statewide with strong gusty southerly winds blowing. A weak cold front will settle into the northern part of the state late Monday night and a few thunderstorms may fire along the front Tuesday, then the front will move back north and warmer readings will come on Wednesday with many locales heading into the 80s. Another chance of thunderstorms will roll in Thursday and temperatures will cool back off into the 70s. All in all, it will be feeling more like summer again this week.
