The latest outlooks have come out early this morning. There is a slight risk of severe weather for Friday and Friday night for southeastern Iowa. This is mainly south of a line from Mount Ayr to Clinton. Storms will develop along a stationary front and move along it to the ENE. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats with this event, but a tornado cannot be ruled out especially if any supercells form along the front. The best chances for severe weather will likely remain south of the state in Missouri. Further outlooks will define the area and severity more closely.
