With each outlook, the moderate risk on Wednesday moves ever closer to the state of Iowa. It now is in Iowa right along the Mississippi River east of a line from downstream of Muscatine to Keosauqua. A slight risk has been expanded westward to include the eastern 2/3rds of the state for Wednesday. There is still a slight risk of severe weather mainly for the overnight hours for the entire state except the far east and northeast. Hail will be the main threat with the storms overnight with strong winds, large hail and tornadoes possible on Wednesday. This could be a significant event, but there has been other times moderate risks have been issued in which nothing happens. Stay Tuned!
