The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect until Midnight for the following counties in Iowa, Benton, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Des Moines, Dubuque, Henry, Iowa, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Jones, Keokuk, Lee, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren, Washington and Clayton. Numerous storms have developed across east-central Iowa and are moving east at 35-40mph. The main threat will be strong gusty winds with a secondary threat of large hail.
