The Storm Prediction Center has issued a TORNADO Watch in effect until 8pm for the following counties, Adams, Appanoose, Clarke, Decatur, Ringgold, Taylor, Union, Wayne, Fremont, Mills, Montgomery, Page and Pottawattamie. This was issued just before 2pm. Numerous thunderstorms have developed in southwest and south central Iowa this afternoon and this will likely be where the best chance for severe weather including tornadoes will be located through early evening.
