A few scattered showers and thunderstorms continue early this evening. The main batch of storms extends from near Elkader to Webster City. These are moving slowly to the east at 15-20mph. Another isolated batch was also moving through south-central Iowa. These storms will likely weaken as the evening progresses with the sun having set. Some heavy rain is possible with these storms for another hour or two before they begin to dissipate.
