More Dry Weather

The dry weather continues, with sunshine and near average temperatures for this time of year. The air is fairly dry but with ample moisture in the ground, there should be no threat of any grass fires. Moisture will return Tuesday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms at that time. Severe weather looks unlikely for this storm, but some isolated hail and strong winds could be possible with any of the thunderstorms that develop on Tuesday afternoon or on Wednesday across the state. River flooding continues on a rivers across the eastern and southern parts of the state. Outside of that rivers are running high across most of the state from the deluge last weekend. The rivers currently in flood will likely fall below flood stage sometime this week.
