Thunderstorms are currently moving through central Iowa at mid-day. They have had warnings issued with them earlier. These storms will move through the Ames and Des Moines areas shortly and be along a Marshalltown to Chariton line around 1pm. These storms may produce brief heavy rain, gusty winds and small hail as they move to the east.
