The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect until 10pm for the following counties in Iowa, Appanoose, Davis, Decatur, Monroe, Wapello and Wayne. A few showers have been developing north of the watch area, a few severe thunderstorms are in NE Kansas moving northeast. Hail and damaging wind are the main threats.
