Numerous Record Highs are likely to have broken this afternoon across the western part of the state. Sioux City has already broken their old record high temperature of 87 with a current reading of 90 at 4pm. Numerous other locations in NW Iowa are at or above 90 degrees. More record highs are possible in the rest of the state on Friday as well.
