Some moderate rain was falling in SE Iowa mainly in Van Buren, Lee, Henry and Des Moines counties. Some other showers were further north as far as Interstate 80. This is part of an upper level feature along a warm front moving through the state. This same complex produced thunderstorms in central Kansas last night and has slowly been moving NE over the last 24 hours. Most of the rain will move out of the state by sunset.
