More on Severe Weather This Weekend

The Storm Prediction Center has a slight risk of severe weather for the northwestern half of Iowa on Friday, the southeastern half of Iowa on Saturday and Sunday as a storm system moves in from the west. The front will stall over the state this weekend leading the to ongoing risk throughout the weekend. Very Warm weather will continue until then, with temperatures well into the 80s. This storm will likely bring a lot of rainfall that is needed across the state. Amounts of more than 2 inches of rain will be possible across the state during the storm event. With rivers way below flood stage, there is no risk of flooding at this time.
