Rainy Weekend Begins

Much needed rain has moved into the state this morning. Sunshine was holding on in the northern and northeastern parts of the state, but that will quickly erode and rain will move into those areas this afternoon. Rain will continue off and on for the rest of the weekend. As a result, temperatures will be cooler than the previous days, with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Sunday and Monday will have highs in the 50s to lower 60s before a warm up begins next week. A few 80s may be possible by late next week or next weekend before the next storm arrives at that time.
